Excelling creatively in faith, family, community, and business
I’ve been thinking a lot about how so many of us are nurturing our online friendships more than we nurture those standing next to us crying out for help, who we can’t hear over the clicks of our fingers strutting across keyboards to type responses to people who couldn’t offer a shoulder to cry on.
We can’t compare our moments to others’ stories. And we can’t leave out our moments if we truly want to inspire others and live a life of purpose and strength. We must share our story without leaving out the moments that made it possible.
Looking back can help us realize just how far we’ve come. Tonight, we step back three years to a post I wrote about time not healing my wounds. Three years later, I feel like a new woman!

Some times you just have to create. Stop boxing yourself in with expectations of the final outcome.
Stop limiting yourself because of the boxes you allow yourself and others to put you in and instead be so fully you that you can’t help but smile each day – even when it’s hard.
